Samsung Galaxy S2

The release date of Samsung Galaxy S2 will be around May/June this year. Originally it was estimated that the release date was around March. We don’t know why the release date is delayed once again. May be they want to have better integration with Android 2.3 and coming Android 3.0. Needless to say, the performance of GS2 will be much better than the former member in Galaxy series.

Some of leaked specifications are followed.
-4.3 or 4.5 inches
-Super AMOLED Plus touch screen
-8M pixel camera and 1.3M front camera with LED flash
-supports up to 32GB memory
-Orion Cortex A9 1GHZ/1.2GHZ CPU
-Android 2.3
-Bluetooth 3.0
-NFC

We are not sure whether the final specification is the same as leaked. But there should no big significant differences when the final product is released on the market. But some people said that Super AMOLED Plus screen is only available in some countries but not all regions. May be there are not enough supplies for the raw materials and manufacturing assembly is not ready for bulk production yet. So Super LCD will be used. The selling point of Samsung mobile phones are sharp screen and their proprietary CPU. If they cannot provide own CPU and screen. Other substitution materials will be used.  We will know the answer when S2 comes out in the market soon.
